Drama Club

Director: 2024 - Present

Vice President: September 2022 - 2024

Member: January - August 2022

The longest-running club at Fisher College, the Drama Club puts on two productions per year: a play in the Fall and a musical in the Spring. When I first decided to attend Fisher, I never would have thought theater would be a major part of my college experience, but it has given me so many fond memories! I have met many wonderful people, challenged my acting and performing skills, and built up leadership qualities along the way.

20th Anniversary
Reunion Show

Spring 2024

Role: Multiple Roles

A unique show full of selected scenes and musical numbers that the club has produced over the years. I got to play 10 different roles throughout the 2-hour show. This was my final show as a student and performer and often helped direct rehearsals. Overall, this show was a blast to put on, and I am so grateful to have been part of it.

One-Acts Festival

Fall 2023

Roles

The Chocolate Affair: M&M

In Memoriam: Antonia

Post-Its: Actress

The Real Problem: Desdemona

Holding roles in four of the seven small plays was a challenge I gladly took on. I enjoyed getting to embody such a variety of characters. As Vice President of the club, I also spent a lot of time each week helping the rest of the cast learn their lines and blocking for the show.

Chicago

Spring 2023

Role: Katalin Helinski, Ensemble

The dances in this musical were so much fun to do! Styles included jazz, ballet, and even the Charleston. I assisted with teaching choreography and spent extra time with cast members who wanted more than the scheduled rehearsals.

Little Women

Fall 2022

Role: Margaret (Meg) March

This play was such an amazing experience! As a returning member of the group, I was able to become a leader in many rehearsals and backstage. I helped gather set pieces and costumes, arranged for the college's media team to film a performance, assisted fellow cast members with learning lines, and served as a role model to encourage positive attitudes and dedication to the show.

Mamma Mia!

Spring 2022

Role: Sky Rymand, Ensemble

As my first show with Fisher College, I was thrilled to be back on stage after ending my time in the dance studio a couple of years before. This show built up my self-confidence and provided a fun and welcoming outlet from the many stress factors of college life.
